Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

"Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" is an Indian comedy-drama movie directed by the well-known director Zoya Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Right under their company which they co-founded - Excel Entertainment. The movie features Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar himself, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin. The movie was filmed across Spain, India, Egypt, and the United Kingdom under a budget of ₹45 crores. 

The release of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was initially planned for 27 May 2011, but due to some technical problems with post-production load work led to a late release. The movie had a worldwide release across 1,800 screens and was a critical and commercial success that grossed over ₹1.53 billion. It received widespread acclaim for its performance, story, screenplay, music, humor, and direction also. The Movie was also nominated for and managed to win many awards, including two National Film Awards. The music and background score were composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. And lyrics by our well-known Javed Akhtar.

The movie's storylines go like this - three childhood friends, Arjun, Kabir, and Imran, reunite for a three-week road trip. They set off to Spain and meet Laila, who falls in love with Arjun and helps him overcome his compulsion to work all the time. Kabir and his fiancée Natasha experience significant misunderstandings throughout the film. While Imran just wishes to meet his biological father who was an artist. During this long trip, each person chooses a dangerous sport for the group to partake in.

  1. Farhan Akhtar's character development in this movie is phenomenal, from a kid who doesn't take anything seriously to a realistic person. I loved it!
