Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani (2013)

The movie 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' is an Indian film made in the Hindi language. It is a "coming-of-age" romantic-comedy film. It was directed by Ayan Mukerji. And written by both Mukerji and Hussain Dalal. It was produced by the famous Bollywood director named Karan Johar in the year 2013. The movie has Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukon starring in it. It happens to be their second film together after a hit movie called 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' released in the year 2008. Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapuyed the supporting roles. 

This mover over time has managed to become one of the highest-grossing Indian movies of all time. It also was the third film ever to cross a total of ₹300 crores worldwide. Following the movie called '3 Idiots' which was released in the year 2009. It was also the 10th highest-grossing Bollywood film in overseas at the time of its release.

Initially, it was set for release in March 2013, but due to certain delays, the film was finally released on 31 May 2013. Upon release, the movie 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' was a major box office success. It is still a popular film amongst youngsters. The film has gone on to achieve favorite rite status since.

Soon after, at the 59th Filmfare Awards, 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' led the ceremony with nine nominations in total. Including - Best Film, Best Director for Mukherji, Best Actor for Kapoor, and Best Supporting Actress for Koechlin.

  6. I still remember rushing back home from school just so that I could watch this movie. Fast forward to present, I still get the same excitement to watch this particular movie...uff...
    Tho I still wonder how could Naina say yes to the proposal after knowing bunny for like 2 weeks in the time span of 7 years...kuch zada hi creative freedom leliya writer ne I must say!!

  8. I remember watching the film on tv, i forgot the story concept but the beautiful scenery was what had me hooked to it. I remember the characters going on a trek. It’s what I liked about the film ‘pal pal dil ke paas,’ amazing scenery in this one too.
